The award above was awarded to me for being me.
It is my very own award, soon to be coveted; or ignored; or despised. It will be awarded(?) from time to time to anyone I deem worthy for reasons of my own. There are no requirements whatsoever.

Count, you can pack more wit, humor and intelligence into a single page than Heinz can stuff beans into a can. I think I would place #6 under the heading: Wisdom That Comes With Age. Hope you and your wife are doing well.
I have always loved the internet, right from when it was first new, clunky and not so user-friendly. It was as if I knew instinctively that there were no longer any boundaries between people and minds (there never has been except for the ones we self-impose).
Visiting your blog makes me feel that zest and appreciation for what we have - this endless flea market of blog stalls of every possible description, where you can stay for as long as you wish, read or view as much or as little as you wish, leave a comment if you wish or simply have an experience before you move on...
Count Sneaky, there are soooo many gems in your latest spread. I really rather not pick one to comment on but if I absolutely had to, I must say that today, right now, this has to be my favorite: Life is an equal opportunity employer.
THOUGHT BUBBLE: Thank you for your kind words. The maxim you cite, "Life is an equal opportunity employer" occurred to me after seeing so many little EOE seals on ads. Why should employers have to proclaim this Constitutional right which is supposedly honored by everyone? So who is REALLY an EOEmployer? Then the answer became obvious to me. I have always been fascinated by computers. My first one was a Mac with (gasp) 1 megabyte of memory. Here is the medium that will bind us together and enable us to appreciate and each other as no other medium ever has. This is really the free expression we were promised. Blogs are little stalls, as you say, in the market of ideas as well as places to find comfort and advice and occasionally, they are just for the hell of it (like mine.) My philosophy, my belief, my religion, is this: "Random acts of beauty. Senseless acts of kindness." Of course, this works just as well backwards. My best.
NOTHING PROFOUND: Ah Marty, you make my head spin with comments like this. There are days when I feel like I have been stuffed into a can of Heinz beans, My wife and I are taking pool therapy now and it is helping us both with our aches and pains. I think the real wisdom that comes with age is: "Keep On Trucking!" or, perhaps, "Keep On Blogging!" My best.
I'm guessing that google would be cheating? ;-)
I think 1) is the left, have no idea about 2) 3) is the Great Flavian Ampitheatre.
MISHA: You have two out of three right. That's close enogh for me. I take pleasure in awarding you the coveted(?) Bronze Award For Whatever for knowing that Vincent hacked off his left ear and the Coliseum was originally named for Flavian. Congratulations! My best.
Well, your insight reflects such an important truth.
"Random acts of beauty. Senseless acts of kindness." - intoxicating :)
Keep on keeping on... :)
