I am going straight out to the shops to buy myself a rocking chair and porch.

FRAN: You could not make a better investment. It also helps to get a big, lazy dog or cat to lay beside you and motivate you. My best.

Hi Count Sneaky .. I do love all that you write and the pictures you put up ... they deserve a great deal of attention .. Fran seems to have it right .. I need a rocking chair - trouble is I have no porch .. and don't feel like a fall!

Cheers .. they are so good I'll be back - Hilary

Hi Count Sneaky .. I struggle to comment - the embedded box doesn't work now - as Blogger changed their template coding .. the pop up box works wonders .. and everyone I've told has changed and all's well that ends well!!

So I have to change browsers and click, click, click .. and then put the dreaded word in .. and type in my URL and name first ..

It'd be easier and more pleasurable and give me more time in my rocking chair .. if you could change to the pop up box ..

Cheers and many thanks .. my email is full name without the hyphen at gm ail dot com .... Hilary

Thank you, Hilary. A picture window with a good relaxing view can work as well, sometimes as well as a porch, particularly when you're trying to finish that drowzey 780-page Victorian novel and you fall asleep reading the introduction ,or preface, or table of contents, or title page or even page 328. I will look for you again soon. My best

Thanks Ivan, I do spend a lot of time on the blog, but it is a pleasure and I hope to convey to my readers some of the joy that lies in our blogging and writing. Fun is the name of the game for me and I try to spread as much as I can .

Muddling through, Count, sounds like a wonderful idea, as relaxing as your rocking chair. Let's start right now.
